After a period of rapid growth, the UK soft drinks market is showing signs of slowing. However, while carbonated soft drinks looks set to continue its gradual decline, growth in juices, fruit and health drinks will continue to power ahead.

Expenditure on soft drinks reached £15bn in 2007, however multiple retailers account for just 21% of sales when measured by value with a high proportion sold through foodservice, on-licensed premises and other impulse outlets.
